2009 springer season below I5 we went 4-5 in an afternoon

****Below I-5 March 1-April 18 fishing will be 6 days a week the closure day being Tuesdays.
****I-5 to 205 will be open  March 1-14  seven days a week but will be closed on March 9th.
****A change in fishable dates happens March 18-April 3, fishing will be  Thursday-Saturday similar to last years fishable days. At his time it appears that there will not be a boat season above I205 to Bonneville Dam for Spring Salmon until after a run forecast is updated.  At that time it might open and new dates will be announced. By the way the Columbia is open at this time for salmon angling. Jason has been having a banner season with just about everything this year so far. I told you all this guy is an all around outdoorsman. I usually don’t put pics of the furry animals here just to avoid the negative feedback from the crunchy people in the area. But today is an exception because this is just to cool. Good job on giving the cats hell Jason!Then he turns around and starts pounding the Sturgeon like a madman recently. Here he is with a 10 keeper day and five to take home for his group. I know of a few guy’s fishing the “Gators” lately and they haven’t been getting much at all… And definitely not 10 legal a day. Way to go Jason!  I wanted to say how proud and inspired I am with Jason. Not just for his angling skills but for his new journey in life. Jason has recently lost almost 70lbs and is on a mission  to be as healthy as possible. Congratulations Ping and look forward to slammin springers with you in the next few weeks!!!!
